The Fayette County District Attorney's office is run by the District Attorney, Jack R. Heneks, Jr. He is considered the chief law enforcement officer in Fayette County. Under the guise of the District Attorney, there are seven Assistant District Attorneys, five clerical staff, two Victim/Witness advocates, and one Chief County Detective.
